DESIGN

Make the next investment easier to decide.

Plan a new system or review an existing plan. We help clarify what needs to change, who is responsible and what to do next.

When the need for change is clear but the next step is not.

DESIGN helps clarify what needs to change—and the decisions and dependencies to resolve before implementation begins.

  • You know change is needed.

The problem is visible, but what should be built is still unclear.

  • A new platform is on the table.

Roles, processes and information needs must be clear before choosing a CRM or other system.

  • Teams work from different information.

Definitions, reports and workarounds differ, making priorities hard to agree.

  • You already have a plan.

An existing architecture or transition plan needs review before BUILD. You need not start again.

The Revenue Engineering Blueprint

A paid planning engagement that brings your processes, data and systems into one clear plan.

We work with your team to identify what should change, the decisions still needed and the main risks.

Four views of the same change
A clear plan for the change.
  1. How the business works

How customers move through your business, who does what and where work passes between teams. We clarify the processes, pipeline and business rules, including exceptions.

  2. Your data and who owns it

What information you need, who maintains it and how consistent definitions support reporting. We clarify data relationships and quality rules.

  3. Your systems and connections

What each system needs to do and how they should work together. We set requirements for CRM, integrations, reporting, automation and technology selection.

  4. Moving from old to new

Where a system is replaced or consolidated, we review legacy and historical data, what must move and the risks of cutover. We set out source-to-target relationships, sequencing and reconciliation checks.

What you receive

The Revenue Engineering Blueprint is a paid DESIGN engagement that gives leaders decision-ready documents. Every Blueprint includes these four core outputs. The agreed scope sets their detail and any additional migration work.

Core Blueprint deliverables
  • Know the problem to solve.

Current processes, friction and a prioritised problem statement.

  • See the proposed way of working.

Roles, handoffs and business rules for client leaders to decide.

  • Compare technology against needs.

Data architecture, governance definitions and technology requirements help compare options against requirements.

  • Plan the next investment.

Risks, dependencies, phased implementation, recommended BUILD scope and an initial commercial range for BUILD.

Choose the right DESIGN starting point

The right route depends on what has already been decided, how many teams and systems are involved and whether a transition is already under way.

  • You need a clear plan

Defines the proposed operating, data and technology direction before implementation. SME Blueprint suits a contained scope; Enterprise Blueprint suits more teams, systems or complexity.

A paid planning engagement with an agreed scope.

  • You already have a design

Reviews an existing design before Nebworx builds against it, to check whether the direction is clear enough to proceed.

A separately scoped paid review. A new Blueprint is not automatic.

  • You are planning a system move

Reviews an existing replacement or migration plan, including relevant data dependencies and cutover risks, before significant BUILD work.

A separately scoped paid review. A new Blueprint is not automatic.

How the engagement works

What the engagement requires

Nebworx helps make the choices visible; client leaders decide the business rules and direction.

Nebworx facilitates, documents and advises.

We bring the current situation, proposed architecture, risks, dependencies and unresolved questions into a decision-ready Blueprint.

Client leaders make business decisions.

You retain responsibility for business policy, ownership and business-rule decisions. These choices should be agreed before implementation absorbs them.

The first conversation identifies a starting point.

Detailed assessment, architecture, technology selection and roadmapping take place within a paid engagement with an agreed scope. An existing plan can instead be considered for a separately scoped paid validation review.

A clear direction is useful in its own right.

The Blueprint can stand as a decision deliverable. If BUILD follows, the approved direction can guide construction. Where ongoing assurance is needed, GOVERN can help keep systems, data, ownership and visibility under review. You do not need to buy all three stages.

  1. DESIGN

    Clarify the direction

Agree what should change and which decisions and dependencies must be controlled.

  2. BUILD

    Construct the agreed solution

The approved direction can guide construction if BUILD follows.

  3. GOVERN

    Keep the live system reliable

Where needed, ongoing assurance keeps systems, data, ownership and visibility under review.

Common questions about a Blueprint

Which documents are included in a Blueprint?

Every paid Blueprint includes four core groups of outputs. The agreed scope sets their detail:

  • An As-Is Diagnostic or Friction Audit with a prioritised problem statement.
  • A To-Be operating architecture and process or journey architecture.
  • Data architecture and governance definitions, technology requirements and a Technology Selection Matrix.
  • A risk and dependency register and Phased Execution Roadmap, with recommended BUILD scope and an initial commercial range for BUILD.
What additional work is included when a system is being replaced?

Where replacement or migration applies, the agreed scope also includes a Data Readiness Assessment, transition architecture, migration-risk assessment and a high-level source-to-target strategy. The detail depends on the engagement.

Can Nebworx review a plan we already have?

Yes. An existing architecture or transition plan can be reviewed without starting again. Architecture Validation or Transition Validation is a separately scoped paid review of existing work, rather than an automatic Blueprint deliverable. The first conversation helps identify an appropriate starting point.
