GOVERN

Keep a live system reliable as your business changes.

We help you review how your systems are working, agree what needs attention and plan improvements as your business changes.

A system can be live and still need attention.

Teams change, exceptions become routine and reports can start to tell different stories. The following signs can open a GOVERN conversation; the assurance scope is agreed separately.

  • Important work depends on a few people.

They know how the process really runs.

  • Teams use workarounds.

The agreed workflow no longer fits.

  • Information is duplicated or incomplete.

    Reports become harder to trust.

  • Leaders cannot see what to rely on.

It is unclear which figures or definitions to use.

  • The environment has changed since launch.

New integrations, automation or business requirements alter how it needs to work.

Review the work, information and decisions together.

Delivery Assurance is Nebworx’s structured oversight of a live operating environment. The agreed review can consider five connected areas; the checks and depth depend on the systems involved, available evidence and agreed scope.

Five connected areas of one live environment
  • How work runs

    Operational Integrity

Check whether workflows, stages, exceptions and ownership still match the agreed way of working.

  • Whether information can be trusted

    Data Integrity

Examine the quality and consistency of important records, definitions and connections between systems.

  • What leaders can see

    Management Visibility

Review whether agreed measures and reports still support sound decisions.

  • How people use the system

    Adoption

Look for gaps between the intended process and everyday use, including where guidance or training may need attention.

  • What should change next

    Continuous Improvement

Identify changes to workflows, reporting, automation or the underlying design that merit consideration.

Clear findings and agreed priorities.

  • What needs attention

Findings about relevant exceptions, risks and opportunities.

  • What to prioritise

Recommendations for client leaders to consider.

  • What happens next

Agreed priorities and clarity about which actions are included or need separate scope.

What Delivery Assurance covers.

Agreed review scope

Before reviews begin, Nebworx and the client agree which systems and evidence are covered, the review cadence, how findings are shared and which follow-up actions are included. Further changes need separate scope.

How the engagement works.

Agree the reference point, then review, decide, act and reassess.

  1. Agree the scope and reference point

Confirm how the environment is meant to work, what matters to the client and what Nebworx will review.

  2. Review

Look for drift and exceptions in the agreed evidence, then explain their business meaning.

  3. Client decision

Nebworx recommends priorities; client leaders decide business rules, trade-offs and what proceeds.

  4. Agreed action

Nebworx makes or coordinates changes where that work has been included in the engagement.

  5. Reassess

Check what changed and update priorities for the next agreed review.

Start from the system you have.

GOVERN is a separately agreed scope. It can follow a Nebworx BUILD or begin with an existing live system after the necessary assessment. Purchasing DESIGN and BUILD is not a condition of discussing GOVERN.

  • After a Nebworx BUILD

For a complex build, discuss ongoing assurance during planning, define its scope as the build progresses and agree when reviews should begin around go-live. GOVERN is not an automatic requirement for every BUILD client.

  • With an existing live system

Nebworx can start with a system built by another team. Before defining ongoing assurance, we establish its condition and validate how work, information, systems and ownership are intended to fit together. A System Health Diagnostic or other validation may be the appropriate starting assessment, with its own agreed scope.

Nebworx advises and reviews. Client leaders decide.

Responsibilities stay clear through each agreed review and any follow-up.

Nebworx

We agree the review scope, examine the evidence available within it, explain findings and recommend priorities or changes. Where agreed, we carry out or coordinate specific follow-up work and check its effect.

Client leaders

Client leaders provide an accountable sponsor, access to relevant people and information, and the business context needed to interpret findings. They decide business rules, priorities, acceptable risk and whether proposed changes proceed. Those decisions remain with the client.

Keep your systems useful as your business changes.

Whether you want to stay ahead of emerging issues or address difficulties already affecting work and reporting, tell us what you are seeing. We can discuss the current condition and the appropriate starting assessment before agreeing any ongoing assurance scope.
